New shoes for my Z

Just had new shoes put on my Z, Yokohama EVS 100. I got what I think is a pretty good deal on them $513 including installation. I had the factory Michellins worn well past the wear bars and driving on wet roads was getting pretty exciting (luckily in central CA it doesn't rain much). So far I like them, but only have about 50 miles on them.

tire milage

I have the Mic. tires on my Z3. I am wondering what should be the expected milage. I have been told by other Z3 drivers that they get in excess of 40,000.

I got 60K out of the front and about 30K on the rear (my owners manual said not to rotate the tires, so I wore the rear tires out much sooner than the front). I suppose if I hadn't had so much fun, I could have gotten about the same from the rear.
