Can anyone help me with finding a good suspension set up to make my M3 sit a little lower, and keep the handling the same or a little better???

Also, if you know of anywhere in Orange County, Ca that will sell and/or install at a good price?? [???1]

Or, would I be better off buying a kit on the net, and bringing it to a shop to install?? Please recommend some good shops in my area for this.

Thanks for your help,

Go here. This is in CA, Glendale. Check the web site:http://www.avusautosport.com/

You may also consider a AC Schnitzer suspension kit. It will cost around $4000 for M3.

Rob, if you go to TireRack.com, you can choose various suspension parts for your car...they usually have some decent stuff available. And even if you don't buy from them, you can just add a set of springs or something, and then Proceed to Checkout as if you were gonna buy the springs, and then you can search for a list of installers in your area. TireRack will then give you a bunch of different places in your area that state what they will install (i.e., rims, tires, suspension, brakes, etc.). It's great !!

I have the Dinan stage 2 kit on my 2002 M3 and am very happy with it. Ride is a little better than stock, and handling is improved with a modest drop in ride height.

Good luck.

Check out "Wheel Power" in Huntington Beach. They are the North American Importer for Hamann and have a wide variety of aftermarkets for the M3 and do awesome work. I recently just got a coilover kit that is pretty incredible. It is made by Radenergie and it handles better then the stock suspension so i would recomend it for sure. It is pricey but worth it. They are online at www.wheelpower.com or call at 714 375 9666 ask for Fred and say Jackson Ellis sent you.

Bilstein PSS 9 Coil-over is a great suspension. Fully adjustable for ride quality and height. Works well for me. I would recommend you contact Michelangelo Motorwerks. They are very knowledgeable on BMW M3 suspensions and have experience in racing. Located in Irvine. 949 770-3322. Turner Motorsports recommended them to me.

Stick to Dinan, they know whats best for the car. I have a E36 M3 and the Stage 2 upgrade is the biggest bang for your buck you will ever get.

Go drive one and you will see.
