New X3 came home last night

Our 2005 X3 3.0 is here. Silver grey, premium package. The interior is terracotta leather with dark sycamore wood. Very cool looking with the black floor/ceiling/dash. I expected it to be more of a tan color but it kinda looks orange. I really like the big moon roof.

It handles pretty well, although nowhere near like my 530i. I still prefer cars to SUV's but this one is really nice.

CONGRATS ON THE NEW BIMMER!!!! SHE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!! I got my X3 2.5i back in June of '04. I traded in my 2001 Toyota RAV4 so going from Toyota to BMW was a HUGE (and I mean HUGE) change for me.

My X3 is Black Metallic Sapphire and comes with the premium package. I got the Terracotta leather interior with the dark Sycamore wood. I was hoping to get the aluminum trim with my X3 but I would’ve had to wait an extra 2 months and I didn’t want that. I love the panorama moon roof that it came with. It is so therputic when I’m driving on the highway during a clear night and the stars are showing.

The horse power is not bad. It’s a lot better then my old RAV4 I’ll tell you that much! And it handles like a car and not an SUV (or SAV). I’ve parked my X3 next to an X5 and they look almost similar to one another. I’ve even had a couple of people ask me if it was the new X5 that I bought.

Congrats! I'm driving an X3 loaner at the moment as well. The panoramic moonroof and adaptive headlights is absolutely awesome options on the X3.

people mistook your x3 for an x5? wow, they must not know much about BMWs....they look pretty different in my opinion.....anyways congrats on the new X3s

I agree! When they asked me that question I looked at them like "Are you F$#%^&* kidding me?" But in height and lenght difference there is not that much of a difference. They even say that the X3 has a little more cubic room then the X5.

I'm loving my X3...I can't wait to try it in the snow!
