Next Generation M3???

When will the next generation M3 arrive in the US? I have seen several conflicting articles listing dates from late 2005 through late 2007. Does anyone have solid info?

US spec dealership in Wiesbaden Germany said late 2007. But with a v8 and 400hp engine....I am sure it would be worth the wait.
