no sound from stereo

a couple of days ago I got in my car and no volume control, meaning no sound...not from radio (business edition) or cd changer (installed in rear). indicator lights on radio work, and I can change channels, switch back and forth from cd to radio, etc, but no sound. fuses (6 of them) are good (checked w/meter).

any hints? thanks.

Have you done any audio upgrades/changes recently? Check to make sure the harness running into the amp is securely fastened.

haven't touched it other than to turn it on/off, change channel, etc.

where is the amp (does it have one)?
