?on engine crossover

i have an 2.7 lr out of an 87 bmw .(528e)
it is inline 6 sohc
i believe it is m20 series.

my question is ,
what other years and/or model will this engine go in ??
and will it be ,just the long block or will the peripeals go with it??

I believe it would fit in any e30 body that has a six in it. Maybe Eric can help you out here as he is an e30 specialist!

I wouldn't call it a specialist... since most problems people post are the same ones I had.

BUT, you're right - it would fit in any E30 with a six in it already. Otherwise you can buy the mounting parts, tranny, driveshaft, and differential you would need.
