Outside air temp sensor

Do you know where is it located on a 98 540? Mine is toast and reads -40c all the time but I can't find it to replace it. I thought it was up under the right front spoiler. THanks.

It is under the passenger side of the spoiler just ahead of the wheel. It resembles a large needle and should be pointing toward the rear of the car.

What Ghost said, somehow the whole panel will slide off with the sensor attached.
