Painted the stock wheels on my 325ix...

I wanted to go with a polished lip and black center at 1st, but it's a lot of work polishing the lip by hand.

Had them all finsihed and done, then applied some left over clear coat that I had on 2 rims to find that the clear coat was lifting the black paint :x ...had to start over again on those 2 and they didnt turn out as nice as the others, but its my beater and it looks 100 times better than it did before so i am happy.

They look ok, though I would have re-painted them silver IMO.

Hey, it's been a while since we heard from you!! Looks okay... I'm assuming they looked like crap before, so they probably look better now, like you said.

Not sure of that colour with your colour car, but I've seen them like that on a Diamanschwartz e30 and the look hot. I think they probably look good in the flesh.

They were severely chipped, lots of rust building up in the mesh of the wheels...they look much better now.
