I have an all stock '85 325e and I was wondering, what sort of exhaust upgrades i could get to enhance the performance the Beamer? If so, what brand and how much will I be looking at?? Thanks for all the feedback.

One exhaust upgrade is the "hotdog" muffler which goes inline with all your stock exhaust cans, i'm uncertain if it'll give your bimmer any more go, but it makes it sound a hell of alot better and abit loader too, a hotdog as a centre can and an aftermarket "performance" exhaust as a final (last exit) can - is idealic :D hotdogs are cheap (you can get one here in Australia for around $60-$70)

Its the labour to put any exhaust in thats expensive.

I already like the name. haha. Will the "Hotdog" fit any type of exhaust tip? The tips I have now are pretty old and not intimidating haha. So what about headers? What else will enhance the performance through exhaust? Sound is great but im really looking for performance.

Yeah, they are pritty cool, makes things sound awsome :D
A hotdog doesnt go over the tip, it goes inline with the centre muffler. (you need to cut a section and weld one in)
Im not sure so feel free to quote me, but i think i read somewhere that the stock headers that is on your motor is about the best flow you can get, besides i dont think there is much room to fit a aftermarket set of headers with have to move parts around.
If you want performance maybe you should be more leaning towards a chip? its less expensive than exaust upgrades and is a better place to start.

Peace, let us know whats happening

What i was trying to say was, "That sounds awsome" lol
If you have the money and time to do those mods, thats even better.
Alright, sick life. Now all I need is money and time.... hahaha. You dont think it would be a waste since it is such an old car or even something that isnt seen as a "modded" car very often. I have only seen about 6 or 7 around where I live and they all seem pretty stock.

I agree with "b-mer_fan-attic"
The reason i purchaced my little bimmer is because they are not to common around where i live.
I like a car that stands out when its not even modified... even though ive lowered and put mine on rims... im happy with what i got for the moment :D
look into getting some camber on your wheels, it just looks so mad on the 3 series.
