Problems on my 3 weeks old M3 -- HELP !

This is a note I'm composing for the 1200 miles service I'm gonna do next week, anybody else have the same problems? The car was picked on on 7/2 and only been driven 1050 miles so far.

1. Minor Engine Problem: When driving at 3rd or 2nd gear, and the car is slowing down during coasting or slightly break, the car SHAKES at certain point between RPM 2000~1500. Since it happens regardless I step on the break or not, this should be related to the gearbox only.

2. Interior Noise: The clicking noise from the rear seat started on the 3rd day I picked up my car. After reading some similar experiences on the Internet forum, I tried something and the noise disappeared if I lay down the rear seat. So I speculate it's somewhere close to the locking mechanism. If the service technician find out the solution, please apply it to both sides even I only hear the noise comes from right hand side at this time.

3. SMG: When downshift from 3rd gear to 2nd gear, the double clutch does not finish completely. Therefore when I step on the gas trying to speed up, the first 1~2 second of throttle was used in revving the RPM to finish the double clutch. It is dangerous and somehow embarrassing because when the driver expects the car to accelerate, it actually delays for 2 seconds after gas is given. This does not happen every time when I downshift to 2nd and re-accelerate, but I’ll say it happens once in every 3 similar scenarios.

The following problems are really minor, I had the same thing in my 1996 328, however I don’t expect to see them happening on a new car less than 1 month old

1. The sound of wind leaking from driver side's window

2. When stepping on the break to stop the car (at 2nd or 1st gear), the car make a noise and slightly shakes, this happens 0.5 seconds right before it’s completely stopped.

Do the rear seats have a button or something at the top of the seat that you push/pull and it releases? If so, then I am willing to bet that there is a cable (the same kind used on a bicycle for it's brakes) going from the button to a latch mechanism. When the seat is up, the cable is loose and can hit something inside the seat (like the hinge). When it's down, the cable is against something becuase having the seat down tightens the cable.
Just an idea....

And for the noise you get when are slowing down, is it like a grinding noise/feel? I've heard that before and I am not sure, but I think it was normal becuase the brakes were warm and the car was just slow enough for the brake to stick to the caliper, then release...it did it fast enough that it sounded and felt like a slight griding.

Yeah, I've noticed my back seat "rattling" a bit on some roads. Only does it when the seat backs are up.

I'm thinking that it's something like the seat back against the rear shelf. I don't know if the dealer can tighten up that latch or not. I'll probably not ask since I'm puttin' sheep skins on the rears as soon as it cools down a bit.

I haven't heard of a similar engine problem. Does it do that whether the engine is warmed up or when it's cold?

I also haven't heard anyone mention that SMG problem. I have the six speed.

The wind noise seems to happen with every M3, not sure if the other e46s have that glitch.

And I've not heard anyone mention that shake when breaking.

I never try it when engine is cold because when it's cold, I warm it up by driving slowly for the first 1.5 ~ 2 miles.

But that happens after a short drive after the car is warmed up, do u think trying it when it's cold will help to diagnose the problem ?
