I've got the three homelink buttons under my rear view mirror but can't find anything about them in the owner's manual. I pushed a button for a while and it started flashing, then I pushed my garage door opener hoping it would program, but nothing happened. Can someone tell me how this is done?

Jake,

Go to homelink.com great instructions on that site. In a nutshell, if you have a rolling code Garage door opener then you need to take off the door opener cover and push the "learn" button on the garage unit when performing this sequence. Check out the site, it got me through eventually....lol !!!

Thanks for the info. I got like 12 owners' booklets in a leatherette case, but for the life of me, I couldn't find the instructions! Now I can get back into my house ;)

I had the same problem with my Homelink garage-door opener. I programmed it according to the instructions, but the door just wouldn't open. Took me a while to find this tiny section that talked about having to press the "learn" button if you have a realtively new garage door opener system. [hatchet]
