I had the good fortune to come across a guy who had a 1989 325is. I asked him if he was interested in selling it. To my delight he was and I ended up buying it from him for only $2700. Its in really good condition and only has 114k. I cant believe I got it for $600 below book. These cars are so hard to find and when you find one the owner usually wants retail for it. Anyways, I love it already. I used own a 1986 mr2 and I am selling my 1984 300zx turbo. They each had their strong points, but my bimmer combines the best of both worlds. The handling and gas mileage of the mr2 with the power and comfort of the 300zx. I gave it a tune up and put in a K&N panel filter. I am also wanting to put in a Jim C. chip and free flowin cat and exhaust. I found a copied jim c. chip on ebay for $55. Any suggestions on the exhaust. I dont have a lot to spend, like $350-400.
