redoor won't unlock

For unknown reasons, my drivers side rear door refuses to unlock!

I've messed around, locking and unlocking the doors from outside and front inside locks but it won't budge. Anyone have this problem before or have any suggestions how I might fix this myself without having to send it to the shop?

Have you looked under the door panel for any loose electrical connections?

There's a lock overriding system in the door itself. Open the door and look on the edge of the door for a keyhole. Your carkey will unlock this device. Hope this is the problem.
