Hi guys,

Ive finally got around to ordering some new roundels since my old ones are slightly worn and was just wondering if anyone had a good technique for removing them that doesnt destroy the paintjob.

A really big hammer, Na just jidding. I used a small putty knife with a towel wrapped around the blade. Just work it very slowly and carefully. There may be a better way, so wait for more replies.

use a flat head screwdriver and work it carefully under the roundel. make sure you have a towel between your screwdriver and the hood so you don't dmage your paint job! good luck. BTW, i always found it very rewarding to see a shiny new bimmer roundel installed.

I've done it several times on different BMWs and just like the others posted before me. Take your time and they pop off easily. You may or may not have to replace the grommets. It depends on how old and dried out they are. Good luck and easy does it.
