Replace gearbox ?

I have E28 525 M30 with gearbox from M5. Is it possible to replace this gearbox to my another BMW - E34 530 M30 [???1]

If possoble, will there be any other problems ?

why exactly are u moving the gearbox?

what year m5 is the box from? its possible, but it might
not be worth the time and money

I dont know what year M5
I just want to sell my E28, but want to keep gearbox

both engines are M30, so I thought it might fit in 530 M30 engine

maybe there are any ways to find out model/year of that M5 gearbox ?
