Resetting Service Interval Indicator SII

USed procedure with key in "0" position and depressing Trip Odometer button. Procedure does not allow Service Indicator to reset to 5 bars. Help?

Resetting Oil Monitor

Hi there...

Try this:
Key in at "0" position
Press and hold reset button (on left side of cluster).
Turn key to 1st position (while still holding button)
"Test" should appear on cluster
Keep holding until "Rst" appears.
Release and press again (2nd time) until "Rst" flashes.
Release and press again (3rd time) to reset the monitor.

That should do the trick, but pls post back to say whether it worked on not

resetting oil monitor

Attempted to use you info, but it would not reset. Funny thing I have reset it before using this procedure, but no luck this time
