I'm not completely against this guy's car. I agree that he does need to learn a bit more about the stuff that he has (220hp/270trq - when it's 121/170, maybe he hit hit the 2 instead of the 1 and didn't proof read...who knows)
I like the body kit he chose (the autovogue av3) however the person/shop that fitted it did a piss-poor job of doing so. Also, on that front end shot:
Had this camera been lowered about 6" and taken about 1 step back, the bumper wouldn't look retarded. I'm undecided on the dual exhaust. I've seen lots like it while I was in Europe (especially Germany), but not on this kit. I'll sleep on it.
I'm not fond of the wheels, but each has their own taste. I prefer the spoke-look like that of the Alpina Classics and the OZ Racing Superleggeras. Both are extremely light, and tasteful IMO. I think the Tenzos are best left for the Hondas.
The hood would be fine if the holes served a purpose other than just to be there and try to make it look tough. I've seen one e30 M3 with similar hood ducts, but it also a high-output turbo s50 setup with over 600rwhp. In that case, when you can beat the car...then you can knock the function hood openings. If this guy had tightweave screening or billets behind it, it would look a lot better.
The wing it a bit ricey, but other than that (and the horridly false M inside sticker..) it's really not that bad. In fact guys, I know we've all seen a lot worse. In fact I recall one particular black e30 on ebay with blue flames decaled on the sides, "type-r' blue seat covers, a wing worse than that one...and a slew of other things...
I guess what I'm trying to say is that things like 'he should be shot 5 times...or shot period' is a little much. That being said, at least he
did choose a better
BMW motor than what he had before.
