its not all that rice.... aside from the interior and wheels (in the pics) it seems like a decent car. If you notice he's got a good step in the right direction with those BBS's with the lip. Give him some credit..... he's done a motor swap along with some other drivetrain stuff. All in all, its still a RWD, nice handling BMW that may have more work into it than most.

just my .02$

dont get me started on *any* of the looks

eh.... i'm not saying i want to be his best friend... nor am i going to do anything that he has done by any means, but at least he's doing stuff with his car and having fun.

and yes i do have a certain respect for anyone that chooses an E30 and decides to do modifications to it.

He needs to be shot, plain and simple. He obviously does not goto the bmw community because EVERYONE would tear him down for what he has done. I laugh at his "220hp" lol wtf honestly, he put a 4.10 lsd and k&n on, he must be a real tuner!! I am still wating for my damn PW from cardomain so I can "sign" his guestbook.... The only people who will like his car is rice, and we all know, RICE IS GAY

"BTW, whats a Getrag 265?"
It is an M3 tranny sometimes close ratio or Sport OD.

At least he is trying. 86 the hood scoops, stickers and wing, redo the interior and put the Rs's on and his car would look like a number of Euro 3's on e30.de His car would not look that bad with the changes

"m3 tranny what model???"
E30 and here are a few other models it is found in
Getrag 265, M3, Big Six '80 to '82, 528e '82, 535,636,745 in '85.
Very stout tranny and can hadle up to 400hp

and the scoops arent scoops. the rest you mention is out of place, not even appropriate.
Do you know what 86 means? It means get rid of, so just to reiterate get rid of scoops (the hood openings), get rid of the stickers, get rid of the wing and completly redo his interior. His car would look like a number of cars in Germany.
I agree the body kit is not that great but he started with a 84 318i I believe, so give the guy some credit he has come a long way. Especially sourcing BBS RS's that are 15x11, RS's are rare let alone an 11" wide rim. He is not real educated as you can tell when it comes to motors though.

Quick P shop of his car with changes made, not perfect you get the idea.

I'm not completely against this guy's car. I agree that he does need to learn a bit more about the stuff that he has (220hp/270trq - when it's 121/170, maybe he hit hit the 2 instead of the 1 and didn't proof read...who knows)

I like the body kit he chose (the autovogue av3) however the person/shop that fitted it did a piss-poor job of doing so. Also, on that front end shot:

Had this camera been lowered about 6" and taken about 1 step back, the bumper wouldn't look retarded. I'm undecided on the dual exhaust. I've seen lots like it while I was in Europe (especially Germany), but not on this kit. I'll sleep on it.

I'm not fond of the wheels, but each has their own taste. I prefer the spoke-look like that of the Alpina Classics and the OZ Racing Superleggeras. Both are extremely light, and tasteful IMO. I think the Tenzos are best left for the Hondas.

The hood would be fine if the holes served a purpose other than just to be there and try to make it look tough. I've seen one e30 M3 with similar hood ducts, but it also a high-output turbo s50 setup with over 600rwhp. In that case, when you can beat the car...then you can knock the function hood openings. If this guy had tightweave screening or billets behind it, it would look a lot better.

The wing it a bit ricey, but other than that (and the horridly false M inside sticker..) it's really not that bad. In fact guys, I know we've all seen a lot worse. In fact I recall one particular black e30 on ebay with blue flames decaled on the sides, "type-r' blue seat covers, a wing worse than that one...and a slew of other things...

I guess what I'm trying to say is that things like 'he should be shot 5 times...or shot period' is a little much. That being said, at least he did choose a better BMW motor than what he had before.

thank you jason - he explained what i was indirectly smirking at. dont take my comments about style in an uneducated maner - its all e30, but mixed wrong and not done right. and there are some other thing like interior that are too far... but then again, jason, you got yours red dont you. meh, not my style. and thats what this is all about. ill give the kid credit that he picked a bmw and tries to stay true, but keep it real for shits sake.

Just curious, Jason. What do you see that says the kit was installed poorly. The only thing I see is that the side skirts look odd for some reason - like they stick out too far or at an odd angle. The front and real spoilers loook like they're tight to the body but maybe you see something I don't.
