Si Board Battery Changing on a 1993e30

Hey,
When trying to reset my 1993 e30 convertible, the oil service, service light would not reset, so I assumed it was si boards batteries, and was supprised to find out that 1st each battery was a 3vbattery, instead of the 1.2v batteries stated in the e30 network 2nd they still had a full charge when putting them on my volt meter. Any clues to how I can reset my service, and change oil light?

Hymm Didnt work

Hymm.. Didnt work, i dont think I am doing it wrong. Can anyone confirm if what this article says about the 1993 year is true http://www.unofficialbmw.com/repair_faqs/sil.html It say you have to remove the jumper while on the on possition? The only reason I am asking is because I havent reassembled my cluster back together.

1993 isn't an e30.

Yup Its a E30

E30 325i Convertible 1993 last year. I am sure of it the head sohc, and the body is a e30

Put Everything Back together

Put everything back together, and still oil, and service light are on. Any suggestions what might be wrong? Oh and I forgot to thank everyone on this forum that has been helping me with all of my problems on my 325 hope I can some day help
