Okay, I have decided that I have had enough snow for about 10 years! I was in the Salt Lake area for 5 days and I tell you I have never seen so much snow by this time in the season. I have been skiing there dozens of times and I truly hope we do not hear any more about drought here in the west because I think there must have been some records broken.

The resorts had tons of snow and some had like 120” by January 1st. I hope the same is true around the region so I can wash my car at home again. [:D]

Picture of Interstate 15 about 200 miles south of Park City/Salt Lake.

I'm amazed there are that many cars on the road and they're all still on the road. All it takes is an inch of snow here and there's cars off in the ditches everywhere. [confused]

Funny thing was, the cars that were in the most trouble were big 4X4 trucks. One Suburban that was going too fast rolled over a few times. There were about 5 other 4X4's stuck way off the side of the road, probably going too fast and thinking they could take on anything. [???1]

That's always the way it is. I see SUVs and 4x4s off the road here all the time, too. The bozo drivers just don't get it that 4 wheel drive does not help you stop any better. Plus most of them don't even have the 4WD engaged in light snow. [rolleyes]

Wish all of you who deal with it the best! I live in S.E. Ct., and have heard of 12" in upstate, where we just get rain. BUT! there are times when we get it too! Last Christmas we didn't go to my Daughters for the holiday! ( Miata then) Snow was just too much!
I just wish all snow drivers the best- nothing like realising your muscles are tense, and then relaxing, or the snow swirling in your eyes in the headlights at night!, Thinking I'm O.K.-what about the idiot coming up? Been there!
At least you're surrounded by a safe car.
Wish US all the best!
