Hello, everyone!

I am a new owner of a beautiful Z4 merlot with black top, just purchased two days ago (my first BWM, BTW). Want to find the right snowtires (plan to get rims, too) but not sure what to get? It's also so late in the season that there probably won't be a great selection to choose from.

Live in southern CT. Would appreciate knowing what everyone's using, and where they purchased from. Did try talking to someone at Town Fair, but they claimed they could find only four Yokohama Ice Guards in Stamford, CT. Not sure if that's the complete story; also don't want to be pressured into buying tires I know nothing about. I think the best advice is from you folks, please.

Plan to take pics of my 'new baby' and willing to share w/all of you.

Here's my new set up they work really well

I just purchased these from Discount Tire Direct

call 1-800-859-6789 extension # 438 Dave

I have 16 x 7 Rage Vigor Rims with 205/55/16 Nokian Hack' tires

Nokian tires get great reviews

I wanted a "plain" rim that is easy to keep clean.

I'm in Madison Ct. - they were phenomenal after last Tuesdays snow storm

I prefer a snow tire that is H-rated and gives decent performance in the dry.

I have had excellent luck with Blizzak LM22s and Michelin Pilot Alpins. I believe Nokian also makes a good snow tire.
