Yesterday I stopped in at a local high end muffler shop....I asked about doing dual exhaust on the car and he said no problem....then we looked at the car on the rack and they wanted to make a mod to the right side of the truck area in order to create room for the muffler...this is right where the battery is at...I said no mods on this car....so the only option is to replace the factory muffler with a new muffler and be content with a single instead of duals out the back....I'm looking at a Magna-flow stainless steel with two tips coming off the back

Anyone here who has done this mod?

I'm pretty sure people have modified M5 exhausts to fit, in fact might even be a direct fit since the S62 is basically the same as the M62.

True, for the price you could get an eisenmann which is the holy grail of BMW exhausts.
