I have the Bentley manual for my car, B595, but it has no info for removing the steering lock assembly. How do I remove it?
Problem: All of a sudden my key would turn only about 10 degrees in the lock cylinder. It turns enough to release the steering wheel lock but then stops (tried my duplicate key also, my valet key would not turn at all and would not even release the steering lock)
I can not remove the lock cylinder because the key won't turn to the "radio" position so that I can insert a wire to pull out the cylinder.
I want to replace the lock cylinder, steering column lock assembly and the ignition switch to avoid future problem.
Does anyone have the procedures for removing the lock assembly?
Please help! Thanks. Jim.
