Steering wheel BMW emblem

Does anyone know if the steering wheel emblem can be easily replaced or do you need to replace the entire housing? My eblem is dented and I would hope I can just pop it out and place a new one in its place.

Anyone know?

I believe it's a stick on. I saw it on sale in the goodies display glass cabinet at the BMW dealership. You can also get one from ebay.

Hrm... maybe a glue on but it seems to really be on there good.

Go to the dealer and ask them whwat to do. You might have to replace the entire air bag cover. Probably around $50.

I don't think you have to replace the whole panel!
Here's a link to an adhesive carbon fiber emblem you can stick on. ebay
If you can't remove the original one, maybe you could just stick it on top.
You just want to hide the dent on the original, right?
But I'm sure the emblem can be removed.
At my mechanic's place, I've seen a steering wheel with the emblem missing.
