I'm going to be putting my Z3 in storage for the winter first of November. Noticed in owners manual in storage section that mentioned "dry brake the parking brake and footbrake". Does anyone do this and is there an easy way to do it?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
P.S. this is my first BMW so I'm a rookie at this.

I garaged mine when I lived in Idaho avoiding the snow, gravel and harsh wear and tear on her. I would detail mine, change fluids that were due or going to be due by spring, wax, treat leather, add Redline SI-1 injector cleaner to the fule, fill her up, park her and use tire chocks, thereby leaving her in netural and no brake. Apply the cover and your done.

Hi Big Daddy! I've already done everything you suggested except for taking him to where I'll be storing him. My husband is going to put stabil in the tank yet after this weekend and I fill up again with fresh gas. I hate to store it but we have some pretty nasty winters here in NE Ohio and they love to use the salt around here. This car is my "mid-life" crisis toy. Always wanted one and the opportunity arose so I took it. Thanks again for your reply.
(going into storage Tuesday)
