Super-charging a Z?

I saw in the Bavarian Autowerks Catalog that there is a super-charger for the 3.0l engine. Supposed to give 100hp & 95lbs of torque. Woohoo!! Unfortunately it costs $6500. I'd end up spending the same amount that a new M3 cost.
My car is still new so I'm not planning on doing this soon, but I was curious if any of you have done this to their Z's?
My guess would be that the super-charger would make it comparable to Big Daddy's Dinan M roadster...?

Oh yeah, for those that may have tried this... one of my main concerns was if their car needed a reserved space in the mechanics shop after this mod was performed?

there is a guy in the E36 section that has had what i would call "bad luck" with his supercharger, he had it installed by a shop and has all kinds of problems since. i installed my own Downing/Atlanta kit and have had not a single issue with the install yet. 20k on it so far. maybe Downing/Atlanta does a kit for your application? they are very thorough when they tell you that the kit is complete.

depends on the kit. people with rms kits seem to have many issues. seems more effective to save your money and buy an M if youre really hungry for more power
