You will need to do your shocks as well... chances are they need doing anyways. While you've got the front suspension out, you might want to replace the upper strutt bearings. It wouldn't hurt to replace your sway bar links either (front and back). On the rear, change your upper rear shock mounts. Other than that, there's really nothing to it. If you plan on doing it yourself, the hardest part will be getting the front strut inserts out. If you have a torch and a big pipe wrench, you'll be fine. Be careful you don't damage the dust boots on the front end. It's actually a pretty easy job. I was a bit scared to do my car last year, but I did it without any real problems. Very simple procedure. You'll need a ball joint spreader, and some spring compressors, and a torque wrench. Those are really the only special tools you'll need.
