tail lights

well as everyone knows i kicked in my pass side tailight and i havent been able to find a replacement.. lol well also i found the leaks that are common in the e30s around the tailights and the antenna bushing.. i have repaired all of them [ btw i found blocks of ice under my battery from all the water seeping in.. haha ] well im thinkin of just gettin those all red euro tails but im not bout to spend 300 on them.. does anyone know how i can regular tails to be all red?? .. my friend used some vinyl and transparent red paint and it looks great on his tiburon but i cant seem to find any transparent red paint and the vinyl looked shitty.. so any ideas would be great.. also anyone selling 88 and up tailights ??

Well I made some smoked tail lights, and I used Paint for a lexan R/C Body, I got it at my hobbie shop, why don't u try them they should have some red paint like that, I'm sure somebody could tell u the colour to get, just don't forget to put a clear coat on afterwards.

I see ur wing is painted, aren't u worried that the paint is gonna crack and peel off (this is the rubber wing ?)

Well the US 325is came that way, I dunno about the rest of the world.

The only car that came like that in SA was the 333i (special edition Alpina make only for SA) , and it had the little extension that came with the M-Tech 1. All of our 325is's came with the Full M-Tech 2 Kit. Our 325ois Evo2 came out with a 2.7lt motor

alright so i should go to a hobby shop and check if they got any then.. sounds good thanks guys for the help .. gettin the car back.. bought a 325 is clutch =)

mrferg did you just spray the testors paint on the inside of the lenses or is there a special way to do it

You just mask it and spray the outside. You'd think it'd chip off, but mine have been painted for a year and not a single chip or scratch.

Yeah get the paint and a word to the wise, if your tunk its leaking fix it as soon as you can. My back right taillight is ruste dout and I can't even get the nuts off to change the gasket. The whole back end is resyetd :/ I want a new car lol

Yes, I did, I actually put 3, or 4, it also gives a nice and shiny look, kinda like ur lights are really clean, or something
