We've had house discussions before and i've always meant to show this one a little more, so here goes.
So my parents bought this lot on the lake for me to live in for college and future investment... damn good invenstment if you ask me because it turned into a luxury mansion! My mother designed the house and they put a LOT of detail into things. Such as: glass tile showers, 8 jets each shower, heated bath floors, german wall paper, german toilets, german furniture, german kitchen cabinets, german window rolling shutters (aka rolladen), sound insualted bed rooms, 4 a/c units, 2 water heaters with filter systems and hot water primer for instant hot water, full house sterio system w/ individual room controls, 5.1 theater built into living room, exterior speakers, every room wired with cat-5 (my idea... seems out dated now that i think about it) w/ highspeed internet running on half duplex with two phone lines on the other 4 wires, full security system, 4000+ sqft living space, 2 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, study, sun room, living room, dining area, screened in porch, art studio, bar/billards/play room, tool room.... which reminds me, theres another room that isnt finished and dont know what its supposed to be. ...err, boating supplies room i guess.
I spent a night there with some friends and my rents were in germany. had such a nice stay i decided to brag a bit. heh, hope you dont mind ;D Some pics ive taken over the years.

Great stuff...looks really nice and peaceful. Looks I should have invested in GA instead of Germany. I just bought a house here...last week oh my GOD super expensive for what you get. Might have to go and visit some friends we got stationed at FT Stewart. Then we will take a detour to your cabin.

That is superb, outstanding, and incredibly beautiful!

Do your parents like Frank Lloyd Wright? It looks like some of the same influence in places. I love it!
As a matter of fact, in the art studio picture to the camera right, there are a couple pictures of his places that my mom idolizes as home design, tacked on the wall.

seriously, since im moving back to the area, it wouldnt be a problem to have a bmwboard guest weekend or what have you.

skandalous: when i lived there, there was a different house in its place. was crap, but still, nice location with the pool and fishing and hunting .... yeah
