Just wanted to know how wide can we go with the tires, before we start experiencing some rubbing? I don't quite like having skinny tires, looks wimpy looking..

No, 195/60.

205's are prob the best on standard rims for both grip and performance.

You can go quite wide, but obviously it depends or how big your rims are, how much clearance you have to go wider.

Well, I was planning on going with 16s, or even 17s with low profile tires.. around the neighbourhood of 40, or 45s. So, I just want to know how wide I can go with the fronts before I begin to experience rubbing, and the back I'm not quite worried about...

I have stocks on mine, and they're 195/60/15... not planning to keep 'em like that for long.. thx for your input

I know a guy who runs 16 inch BBS w/ 225 Kuhmo MX and he only has a "very Slight" rub on the strut tube. That car looks so mean with that wide of rubber!!!

i was thinking 225 rears, and 215s front on 16inch rims with probably 45 profile tires

I think that would work well. - try it and see is the best advice really as if you start messing about with your ride height, that will change everything too.
