For the money, it looks good but is it worth it to buy $330 suspension? What is the quality of Tokico for autocross and street driving?

peyton i would only go with them if your suspention is shot compeletely and you need a replacement soon. you could get them and use them on the track with me if you cant afford highquality ones sence yours are starting to go bad

For $330 it's going to be junk. A good/decent set of springs from eibach or whoever is typically $200-$250. Let alone shocks! Honestly I would reccomend just saving up and buying some bilstein sports or better yet, koni adjustables (something like $400) and a good set of eibach springs (probably $200 - $220)

Not only will it last longer than the car, it's much much MUCH better all around.

Tokico is somewhat OK (i.e. not junk) but it doesn't come close to Koni. I've been looking at this for a few months. I will be ordering a set of Konis for the E36 in a week or so. I'm going with H&R springs.

Best prices for E36, I think E30 is a bit less:

Koni ~~~ $575 - $600

H&R ~~~ $225

Compared to stock, koni, and bilstein, it is junk!! There was a suspension comparison done on an e30 site a few years ago, and tokico and some other brand that is basically the same, were both junk compared to everything else.

Check out groundcontrol.com. There is a coilover spring conversion you can buy, it's actually very well designed.
