Trans Leak Please Help

Fo you have a manual or an automatic transmission? Is the fluid red in color? Can you tell where the oil is coming from, it is rarely coming from the location you find it.

I'm sorry it is a manual and the fluid is brown in color.

Hahahahaha, "BLOCK" hahahah.

Yea it definitely looks like it could be from the rear main seal, but MORE than likely from a leaky oil pan gasket. That's not a terribly difficult fix.

I no.... I have to write that on the 4X4, if not my wife will throw it away. On the other side it says Jack for "jack block" crazy right? [hah] [8]

Also thanks for your help [thumb] I will check it out this weekend.

Is it a 6 speed or an automatic?

Unfortunately the rear main seal requires removal of the transmission, clutch and flywheel!

It is typically easier to just add some oil now and then.
