Transmission mounts and drive shaft.

I have a 1995 525i with 83000 miles that the dealer says needs automatic transmission mounts and drive shaft. Does that make sense? Do they go bad that soon? -

They can , are you getting any vibrations in the car? Could be the guibo coupling, that is a lot less expensive than a drive shaft.

Yeah, I've heard of those go bad. Like Big Daddy said, do you have any symptoms at all?
Dealers like to recommend work that's not necessary most of the time.
So be smart, or get a trusted Indy to check it out.
But if you are having symptoms, then it's obvious.
