Give me a link and i'll take a look at it. But usually if it's a company youv'e heard of and have done some reaserach on it, it's probably woth the $$$. If your really interested just do a lot of reaserch. Most things like that are kinda like this: the more you spend, the better it is.

If you are talking about the B&B Triflow, they are an awesome cat-back system. They're extremely expensive though. You won't see much (if any) performance gains over what Supersprint/Remus/Stromung already offer. The B&B Triflow gets it's reputation from it's distinct sound. Out of every muffler I have heard on e30s, it has the deepest rumble and most powerful sound at wide-open throttle.

Remus and Stromungs are better buys and equally as good in quality and are about $200 cheaper. Any thought's on what you could do with that extra $200? You could do all of your interior accessories (i.e. pedals/shift knob...etc) for under 200.

Just my $0.02 ;)

Theres the Tri-Flo exhaust system from Bavarian Autosport. Its on sale right now for $643.45 or about that. Most of the exhaust system seem to go for around same price range. Thats about all i know about this right now so I too would have to do some further research.

I think the tri-flow has the best sound and is of very high quality.

You can get an exhaust that may give a little more of a power boost, but for normally aspirated street cars like a 325i, an exhaust is more of a cosmetic addition than a performance one.

I bought the tri-flow for the sound and the appearance. If I had money to burn, I would buy one and stick it on the wall of my garage or basement as a piece of art.

$643 is a very good price for that exhaust. Mine is rock solid, with stainless steel welds in addition to construction, unlike some others.

What about the Ansa free flow? its cheap but is it any good? i could imagine tons of things i could do with $400 cash saved.
i had an ansa that came on my car when i bought it. i tore it off and gave it to my son when i did my motor swap. if you live in a dry climate and are on a budget i guess its ok. i would not buy another tho. id rather go and have a custom cat back fabbed with an aftermarket muffler. the sound and quality did not impress me. if youre a student or just on a tight budget its an option

Ireland Engineering has a nice stainless steel catback muffler for $390. Stock blot-on and an easy DIY. This is a fairly new item for them and is still at the 'introductory' price. I saw it in their shop and it looked sweet.
