Got a flat on my convertible....waiting for new rims/tires from tirerack.com, but in the meantime, the back tire has gone completely flat. I don't drive it much in the winter. Well I got the lugs out and now can't seem to pull the tire off, am I supposed to pop the center cap? I'm assuming there must be another bolt there.

HELP!

under the cap there's the nut that holds bearing in place, no need to undo that.

do remove center cap, then spray some wd-40 or alike onto area that rim and centerbore make contact at.

wait an hour or so.

then kick, yes, kick the tire, side to side first then upper and lower area, she'll release.

Take a big rubber or plastic hammer that is used for taking off stubborn rotors and hit it on the back side of the rim all the way around. Plastic or rubber wont hurt the rim.
