Warning Tones

[driving2] While driving my new 89 Bimmer, on occasion I get three warning tones. Nothing else happens, the car runs fine, no lights come on except the crazy ones discussed in other threads. THey also seem to be random no set time in between etc. Any ideas of the source? Or what the cause of the tone chiming (three times) [driving2]

that is probably the memo tone. It goes off a minute before the hour every hour. Hit the memo button for it to go away.

Could it possibly be the temperature beeps? I don't know where in PA you are but a few times the past 2 weeks in the morning I got the warning for it being 38 degree's.

That's the memo tone. The temperature tone is a single tone.

Thats what those tones are! Been trying to figure those out for a long time. Well just the memo one. My outside temp sensor is missing. Argh something so simple yet annoying..... lol
