Howdy Yall,

Well, I have been doin some checkin for awhile on water vapor injection systems and
I have not found any discouraging evidence yet that these systems are crap.
I have only read that you gain on HP and increase Engine life. BUT..........
I have yet to here from owners that have tried or do have these systems in thier BMW.

Please share you experiences!!
If not, I will buy it neways and tell yall what happens.[thumb]

These hit the market in the late 70's in the US. While I am sure some technology has changed they were mostly hype back then. I do not know of any systems being made today, nor what they might be promoting about them.

The alcohol is like the fuel part of the air/fuel mixture... it needs to be used in conjunction with a pressure (turbo) system.
The water mix raises the flashpoint of the alcohol but another reason for the water is increasing the compression value.
It seems complicated but is surprisingly simple. i dont know about how good this all is, but looks like people use it.

(correct me if i got something wrong)

The only ones I have heard about recently that have used it with some success are Subaru WRX cars. Otherwise its been around for years with little popularity. Maybe there is some new technology upgrades that offers promise that I'm not aware of.
