Long Comments:
Don't be discouraged by the price but its an 85 model with a recently reconditioned 325is engine, ported polished, big cam and flat-top pistons etc. Motor was out of an 88 model and all wiring has been swapped over to suit. Also has reconditioned M3 5spd box with new clutch. New 2 and 1/2" m-bend racing exhaust. New Radiator, new hoses, the works. Only ever run on mobil1 oil. New 17" wheels and low profile tyres, new window tint, new cd player, 18" sub, splits and amp. New breaks all round. Huge sunroof, leather trim from 5series beemer. central locking and proffesionally lowered. This car is extremely quick, will do 110k/h in 2gear and it gets there fast. Must be driven to really be appreciated! V8 EATER! Will Trade!!! Will Trade!!!

thanks for reading.. (if you did..)

what do you think.. he said that the gearbox is the same as the M3 one that came in the 325is with the engine.. any ideas as to why he would put flat top pistons in there?

the guys getting it dyno tuned next week so ill have a look at the figures..

thanks for any respnce/ oppinion.. would i be better holding out for a real 325iS? the guy said that it has the stock LSD,

oh and i havent actually looked at the car or driven it.. as the car is a few hrs drive away..
and yes, if i were to get it i would change the wheels..

I did read it and stand by my opinion, too much! If you bought this and unless you bought special insurance the most any insurance company would give you if it was totaled would be about $2500.00 if that. Sorry, but heavily modified vehicles and/or restored vehicles rarely if ever recoupe the investment made.

finch,
i dont believe the car is overpriced, E30's in good condition will range from $8k - 20k here in Aus as i'm sure you know. That being said, i think you need to listen to the others in regards to the mods and upgrades. you never really know what you are going to get... Oh, and 110kmh in 2nd, i doubt it.

I guess I should have sold my 91 318is over there! I got $5500.00 for her with 164k on the clock, Dinan Stage III suspension, Jim C Chip, Zender Aerodynamics, ATE gas slotted rotors, front and rear strut braces, tinted wibdows, guage package, factory wheels, plus a set of Borbets, and more......Shipping would have killed me!

i would have taken you car.. but shipping would have killed me also.. lol

but yeah, i cant find a decent 325iS under $12k and they all had around the 180 - 200 000kms on there..

my brother just recenttly picked up a 85 323i (stock as a rock) for $5000.. its in pretty good nick.. about 250kms i think..

so that gives you an idea what the two cars are worth, here in aus..
