i have a 1986 325 and i have an Ansa sport exhaust, and was wondering what schould i do next; Chip, intake, wheels, suspension, or ICE. right now ive been saving for a sound system but i just want more power from the engine. so im very confused on what to do next. need a certain goal to save up for or i will just end up spending all my money. thanks fo any input.

all depends. how long are you gonna keep the car??? wheels and ice can be removed and replaced by orginals quickly and easily. engine mods are pretty much there to the end. if your going to upgrade in a year or two go for the ice (maybe not wheels as is is pretty universal but you new car may have different sizes!!!) a chip and induction kit will give you that edge over the next 325 (unless you pull up next to me [:D] [:D] ) if your keeping it for a while id get a few small engine mods. then save up for bigger brakes (and therefor wheels) then maybe go insane and hike the power up. Myself personally am not an ice fan. i like to keep the weight down and not be distacted too much if im burning it. but its YOUR car not mine so i would do what you feel you want. just remember when installing any sound systems NOT to cut the parcel shelf to fit bigger speakers as its an integeral part of the chassis.

well i plan on keeping the car as long as i possibly can, i have always wanted to have this car and i think its one of BMWs best body IMO. and by parcel are you talking about the rear shelf with the 5 1/4's?

yes he is.

I say it depends on how much you can spend right now. The Jim Conforti chip is a killer upgrade for the etas for only $200.

If not that or after that I would say suspension. The Eta engine will never be a dragstrip car so make it outhandle them. Plus low profile tires and big wheels look funny on the 4x4 suspension installed from the factory.

I have a 1.5" drop. If you wanna see how that looks with bottlecaps then lemme know.
