looking for a race like feel (a very stiff suspension) in my '98 E36 M3.
my chassis needs to remain at stock height though cause my 18's barely fit under the fenders as it is.

does anyone have any suggestions?
who makes the best kit? bilstein? h&r? koni? etc?
do i need stiffer shocks, springs, struts, or both, or all 3 ????
do i need a spring compression tool to remove and reinstall a new coilover set?
if so, what brand do u suggest? macpherson? etc?

looking at Bilstein part #'s: (not the sport set, the racing type)

MSP-05778 (left front)
MSP-05779 (right front)
MSP-05551 (rears)

are these any good????

please help,

thanks

i have no experience with any of them, but bilsteins i've heard are the butter to bmw's bread. you definately need shocks/springs, and could probably manage with strut bars and would benefit from sway bars.

shocks/springs will slam your ride, but you can get spring pads for very very cheap to install with your springs that will raise you car up as high as you want.

Bilsteins are nice, but I'm personally opting for the koni, becuase they are adjustable and usually a little better quality (so I've heard)
