Where is the O2 sensor ?

Hi,

91 318is e30 M42 engine.....where can i find the O2 sensor ? i don't have a manual so am lost..

jack up the car, look for the catalytic converter, then it should be just before that.

The o2 Sensor is normally located further down from the exhaust manifold. If you follow it down, you'll see a sensor sticking out from the pipe. You'll need a o2 sensor wrench to pull this out.

or a 7/8" combo wrench, if it is easily accessible
