I have Win Media Player 9. It can't play anything. I think there's something wrong with it. Anytime I try and open anything on it, it says there's an error (no specific message though). I wanna uninstall it and reinstall it but can't figure out how. It's not in Add/Remove programs. Anyone know how? Thanks.

Windows media player is evil, you cannot easily uninstall it. Try using the system restore utility if you have XP. Warning though, the restore utility messes everything up.

My copy of WMP9 doesn't like to install codecs very well, I use Winamp for everything now.

My best bet, just try to reinstall over the existing copy.

That's the prob. Can't reinstall windows. THis is a family computer and my parents have all sorts of crap on here. It's a pretty new 2.8Ghz, 1Gig Ram, 250Gig HD computer and it runs slower than my (well, currently dead) 600 mhz, 256MB Ram laptop cuz of all the junk they have on it.

I think it works. Well, 1 out of 2 files worked good. One file couldn't track the time at all but I'll just assume the file is the one messed up. Thanks for your help.
