Wiring for trunk sub

I asked the local dealer where a sub could be mounted and was told that they usually are screwed to the rear seatback and use the entire trunk as a cabinet. I've also considered an infinity basslink in a powered cabinet.

Is it hard to find a wire to pick up for the feed, for power, and is there a good "wake up" input in the trunk?
