So I've read that if you don't have the navigation system, you should have a dash top storage bin. I've had my X3 2.5 for less than a week, but I am almost certain I don't have a storage bin on the top, there's a panel, but no way of opening it. Should I have a storage bin, is there a way to open the panel? I would really like a strorage bin... does anyone else have one?

hmm..seems odd..i got my x3 2.5 just last week and didn't want the expensive navigation system..i did get the storage box (for what its worth)..i had more storage with my other vehicle plus 2 (repeat 2) cupholders side by side..its hard now managing with just one cupholder and the other way on the other side of the world (i mean SAV!) Surprised you don't have the storage..what is the point of origin of your vehicle??
