Z3 Wind deflector

I have a Z3 without roll bars.
Is it possibe to fit a decent wind
deflector??
If so any details???????

I have seen cars with aftermarket wind deflectors, not manufactured by BMW, and the owners seem rather pleased with them...I believe they make one for the Z3. BTW, did you remove the roll bars yourself? Just out of idle curiosity...

The early ones didn't have roll bars. I remember riding around with my friend in one of the first production Z3's off the line (when they were all 4 cylinders), and it didn't have roll bars.

nope, it's 2.0l and rollbars were an optional extra at the time!!!!!!!!!

I have an early '96 Z3, no roll hoops. For almost a year I have been looking for a decent wind deflector. BavAuto has a mesh type one. My dealer also has one, but not in stock, the would need to order it. I'm hoping that someone who has one will someday post pics and source info, so I can decide if I really want to do it (I think installation involves cutting some holes, so once it's installed, it's there to stay).

hiya mate, my Z3 has a wind deflector and work extremly good, dont know whether they are different cos mine is a european spec and your might be different........

i will add some piccies later........

My 97 2.8 did not come with roll hoops, but I installed them with a reto-kit the dealer sold.
