I have a perfect condition 2000 Z8 (13,000 original miles) which will be coming off the original warranty in September of 2004. I'm wondering if anyone has strong advice about the wisdom of purchasing an extended warranty from BMW. Are people encountering significant mechanical problems in year 4 and/or after 15,000 miles?
