Hey Guys,

Well haven't had much need to post on the board lately...my cars been running fine, well until yesterday. Here's the deal I'm on the highway heading into work going about 60mph when my tack drops and the car stalls, then it comes back up and dies again. If this isn't enough to unsettle your nerves a great deal of grey/black smoke comes through the dash, really from under the dash.

This is when I pulled over and shut the car down and called in a tow to the mechanic. I am still waiting on a diag. from him.

Any I idea what could cause the car to stall and produce smoke like that in normal drive conditions when everything seemed ok...it really came out of the no where.

Eject!!

Christ....

What did the smoke smell like?
Hope you didn't fry all the wiring loom, or anything else for that matter.

I'm really not sure what could have happened, fuel related electrical related, major mix of both.....
Sounds frustrating, bloody hope the cars alright/easily fixable.
Get back to us!

Seems as if there was a small electrically problem, nothing major thankfully. While in the shop I had the Clutch done, fixed a siezed right rear brake drum and asorted muffler hanger issues.....good times.

The price of repairing stuff through a mechanic quickly builds up hey...
Glad to hear the problems all cleared up though.
What was the electrical problem, how was it repaired?
What was wrong with your muffler hangers?

Peace.
