Idle Issue

I replace the headgasket o my 325iX inline six 2.5L. It is in time and everything is hooked up correctly. The only thing is the idle stumbles but the tach doesn't move. After a little bit the engine light comes on, I reved it up and the light went away. I though vaccum leak. Any ideas?[idea]

Was it playing up like this before you changed the H/G, or was it running fine except putting coolant into the crankcase?
Make sure the spark plug leads are on the right way, sorry if you have already checked and then double checked, more info dude!

It was idling smoothly before and just leaking coolant in the crankcase. Replace the headgasket and now idle pulses. I have discovered a crack oil fill cap and I probably need to replace all of the hoses and clamps. I have several spots were coolant like to seep from the hoses, big pain in the butt.

I hear you on that one, get on top of those things and see what happens - check things like your hoses and oil filler cap first.
