I just replaced my whole instrument cluster (because the old one had a faulty temerature gage). But now the new temperature gage twitches franatically. Anyone know why? Does this mean that I have to replace the temp sensor? If so, where is it located? Plus, my oil light is always on. Thanks.

Your oil light being on is more than likely a faulty check control panel (this was my problem) or the level sensor has a fault. if the oil level is fine, then Id susspect this first, ruling out any sketchy wiring that might have been done by the previous owner.

Oh, your "oil pressure" light is on (little oil can that illuminates red)
Hmmmm, "brake alignment" light?
Do you mean brake "lining light"?
I'm confused mate.
SORRY about that,
Yea it is the "Brake Lining" light that is always on and the "oil pressure" light turns on and stays lit after a few minutes. What does it mean when that oil pressure switch is on?
Also as I was driving home yesterday, I had to break hard to avoid hitting someone and as I was braking, the "brake" light came on (just to the right of the "brake lining" light) came on for about 2 seconds. What does this mean? Worn brake pads?
Thanks again,
B-Man.

Driving around with your "oil pressure" light on is risky, though, if your still driving around and your car seems ok, I'd probably suspect a faulty oil pressure switch which is tapped into the right side of the block. the light means that something is wrong with the oil system (a failed oil pump can do this for example)
The "brake lining" light indicates one or both of your brake circuits (front or rear) needs the pads replaced.
Check em' out.
