i need information on how to replace a blower motor resistor on an 87 325 its cold and i need heat please help
On my 1988 I had to go in through the engine bay. There is a compartment near the center of the engine/cabin wall that you have to open, then remove the resistor in there. I removed mine, cleaned it off and had speeds 1, 3 and 4. So I replaced it with a new one and had all 4 speeds again. I think it was about ~$30 bucks canadian.

there is instructions floating around on the net. I googled searched for my instructions but cant find them right now. Think I got them off bmwe30.net, but the site doesnt seem to be up now.
