Clean and straight, I'm not a fan of the blacked out kidneys though.
You stealing "Echo3zero" is probably not the first time its happened to Graham anyway!
Thanks for posting.

Yeah I really dug the black kidneys, but Im kinda getting sick of them. I may get another set of chrome ones and swap 'em in there for a while. The one thing the pics don't show is how bad the car needs paint. The hood's really bad, but it's also dented up (from the PO) so I will probably just try and replace that.

I like the red tails with the reverse light left white (same as what I did on my car). Also the painted bootlip spoiler is nice. Was it painted with additive so the finish is flexible, or does the paint crack every time the spoiler flexes?

It came like that from the factory. And yea, it is cracked a little. But it's also faded as well. Been thinking of painting it black, but not sure I wanna do that.

It's not theft. Think of it as a tribute. [idea]

If you want it black either get a second hand one, or strip the paint off the rubber.

The factory painted spoilers lasted quite well, but the compound that made the paint flexible goes hard over time and you get cracks. If you ever repaint, get them to sand it back to the rubber prime with a primer suitable for rubber and then paint. They have to add a compound to the paint to make it flexible so it doesn't crack straight away.

Make sure (if you go down the track of buying a second hand black rear deck lid spoiler) that you inspect the bolt studs for rust and the guts aren't all rusted out, my lip spoiler was subject to this eh...

yeah, I figure it works, it's not rotted and falling off (had an e36 with that problem) so why mess with it. Right now it's a little faded, but so are other places on the car. And with the sterling silver, it's not as noticeable on the spoiler. And yeah, the rear apron is something that bugs me. But I want the car to look good, and money for a good paint job is not something that I really have.
